01Who we are

LastRun is operated by Eastbase Studio ("Eastbase Studio", "we", "us"). Eastbase Studio is the operator and brand behind LastRun. For anything about these terms, your account, privacy, or billing, contact support@eastbase.studio.

02What LastRun does

LastRun monitors cron jobs and background jobs you already run. Your job sends LastRun a ping when it starts, succeeds, or fails, and LastRun alerts you when an expected ping doesn't arrive on schedule, when a job reports a failure, or when a started job runs longer than its allowed maximum. It keeps a per-run history and can publish status pages and badges.

03What LastRun does not do

LastRun does not run, schedule, or execute your jobs — it only watches jobs you run elsewhere. It is not an uptime/HTTP monitor of your endpoints (it waits for inbound pings rather than polling your URLs), and it is not an error tracker, APM, or log-management tool. It has no on-call rotations, no mobile app, no AI features, and no self-hosting.

04Your account, organization & team

You need an account to use LastRun, and each account belongs to a workspace (organization). You're responsible for what happens under your account and workspace, for the people you invite, and for the roles you give them (owner/admin, member, read-only viewer). Keep your login credentials and any API keys secure, and make sure the people you invite are allowed to see your monitors and run data. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

05Configuring monitors

You define each monitor: its schedule (a cron expression with a real timezone, or a simple interval), a grace period, and an optional maximum runtime for stuck-run detection. LastRun acts on the configuration you give it — if a schedule, timezone, grace period, or runtime is wrong, alerts will be wrong too. You're responsible for configuring monitors to match how your jobs actually run and for keeping them up to date as your jobs change.

06Ping URLs & tokens

Each monitor has a unique ping URL containing a secret token; your workspace also has ping and API keys. Treat these as confidential credentials. Anyone who has a ping token can send pings for that monitor. Keep tokens and keys out of public repositories, client-side code, public logs, screenshots, screen recordings, and untrusted tools. If a token or key is exposed, rotate or recreate it where the product supports doing so, and contact us if you need help.

07Ping bodies & run output

You can attach a body to a ping (for example, a POST body on a success or failure ping); LastRun truncates it to about 10KB and stores it as run output so you can see it later. This output is meant for short, non-sensitive run notes.

Do not send us sensitive data in ping bodies. Never include secrets, credentials, API keys, access tokens, database URLs or connection strings, raw customer data, sensitive personal data, payment card data, confidential business data, or full logs or stack traces that may contain environment variables. Send a short summary ("wrote 1,240 rows") or a redacted error message instead. You're responsible for what you choose to send.

08Alerts, integrations & webhooks

You choose how alerts reach you — email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, or a custom webhook — and you provide the addresses, webhook URLs, and integration details. When you connect a channel, a copy of each alert is sent to that provider so it can notify you, and that provider handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. Alert delivery depends on those third parties and on the internet between us; we can't guarantee every message is delivered or delivered on time.

09Public status pages & badges

If you publish a status page or a status badge, that surface is designed to be viewed without signing in. Anything on it — monitor names, states, uptime, and incident history — can be seen, cached, indexed by search engines, copied, or screenshotted by third parties. Don't put anything confidential in monitor names or status-page titles you publish, and unpublish a page when you no longer want it public.

10Monitoring is best-effort

LastRun monitors your jobs based on the schedules, grace periods, pings, and configuration you provide, and we work hard to deliver every alert — the monitoring engine runs on separate, always-on infrastructure and is itself monitored externally. Even so, monitoring is best-effort. We do not guarantee that every missed, failed, delayed, duplicated, stuck, or recovered job will be detected or that every alert will be delivered or delivered on time. You remain responsible for testing your alerts end to end and for keeping fallback monitoring in place where a failure could cause serious harm.

11No safety-critical use

LastRun must not be used as the only alerting layer for safety-critical, emergency, medical, legal, financial, security-critical, infrastructure-critical, or life-impacting systems. Do not rely on LastRun alone where a missed or delayed alert could lead to injury, loss of life, significant financial or data loss, or similar harm. Always keep independent safeguards for those systems.

12Acceptable use & fair use

Use LastRun lawfully and only with data you have the right to send. Don't use the ping API as generic storage, a message relay, or to transmit sensitive data it isn't meant to hold; don't attempt to break, overload, or probe the service or other customers' data; and don't resell LastRun or run machine-generated monitor farms. "Unlimited" monitors on Pro means a real human team's genuine workloads (fair use), not resale or automated fan-out. We may apply reasonable limits to protect service stability.

13Plans & billing

LastRun has a Free plan (5 monitors, email alerts, 7-day history) and a Pro plan at $9/month or $90/year (unlimited monitors under fair use, all alert channels, 90-day history, public status pages). Billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy as our merchant of record: they process the charge, collect any applicable taxes, and we never see or store your card details. Your purchase may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms shown at checkout. Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you chose until you cancel.

14Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel Pro any time from Settings; Pro features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your workspace moves to Free. We offer a 14-day refund window on charges. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for the details.

15Availability & changes

We aim to keep LastRun available and reliable, but we don't promise uninterrupted service — there may be maintenance, outages, or issues outside our control. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time. If we make a material change to these terms or to how LastRun works, we'll let account holders know by email; continued use after a change means you accept it.

16Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, abuse the service, put its stability or other customers at risk, don't pay, or where we're required to by law — with notice where practical. You can stop using LastRun and delete your account at any time. On termination, your workspace data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

17Disclaimers

LastRun is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect or alert on every job event.

18Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eastbase Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or relating to LastRun or a missed or delayed alert. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for LastRun in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.

19Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to LastRun or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Vietnam. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law where you live.
